About Me​

I'm Josh Marshall, a freelance illustrator and storyboard artist based in Hertfordshire, just outside North London.After studying Illustration at Kingston University, I've spent over a decade working across advertising, television and editorial illustration, collaborating with creative agencies, production companies and brands in the UK and internationally.

Storytelling sits at the heart of everything I do. Whether I'm developing storyboards for a commercial or creating a standalone illustration, my work focuses on character, composition and visual narrative. I'm particularly interested in the small details, expressions and relationships that bring an image to life.

I enjoy the collaborative side of the creative process, working closely with clients to turn initial ideas into engaging, considered visuals.
